Gareth Lord is a multi-talented artist hailing from Shropshire, England, United Kingdom. With a passion for performance that knows no bounds, Gareth has made his mark as a singer, actor, and dancer, captivating audiences around the world.
Gareth’s journey into the world of entertainment began with a strong foundation in education. He pursued his passion for the arts at Wrexham University, where he earned a BA (Hons) in Theatre, Television & Performance from 2011 to 2014. This academic pursuit laid the groundwork for his exceptional talent and creativity.
In 2019, Gareth took his talents to new heights by enrolling at the International College of Musical Theatre (ICMT) in London. There, he honed his skills and expanded his repertoire, setting the stage for a promising career in musical theatre and beyond.
Last year Gareth was as a Lead Vocalist on board MS Balmoral, a cruise ship operated by Fred Olsen Cruise Line. His performances aboard the ship delighted passengers and showcased his versatility as a performer. The styles and genres he has performed include Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Soul and Disco.
Gareth’s latest project was as the lead role in Talegate Theatre’s Pantomime “Robin Hood” at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall for which he received high praise from critics and audiences alike. Due to his strong performance in this production, he was asked to play the role of Robin in “Throbbin Wood”, an adults only pantomime touring the UK in January. From March, Gareth will be continuing to enchant and entertain audiences at sea as a Lead Vocalist on board MS Borealis, another ship in the Fred Olsen fleet.
